I used to work with a real workaholic a good few years ago and I used to say to him often, "one day when you're on your death bed, it won't matter that you spent all this time at XXX Company. You'll wish you'd invested time and energy in your wife and kids".
Isn't that the truth?!
I also chatted to someone else yesterday and told her, "it doesn't matter how much time you're spending working at the church if your marriage is suffering for it".
