Weekend decluttering inspiration
So, I’ve been going through stuff the last couple of weeks.
Not just going through stuff but throwing out quite a lot.
 |
| A pillow and a doormat |
 |
| unnecessary plastics |
 |
| tons of hangers and miscellaneous plastic things (the children took the plastic containers) |
 |
| Look at all those lovely empty hangers |
 |
| 7 pairs of pants |
What’s on your weekend organising to-do list?
Any special areas you need to declutter?

I’m on vacation right now and I’m focusing on digi-decluttering (e-mails and RSS feed) and all the pending to-do’s that are bothering me and making me feel guilty: the pile of clothes that I need to iron, the mess on my nightstand, the mess on my desk, DBF’s professional website… Feels good to get rid of those!!

Chloe, enjoy your holiday! And all the best with your digi-decluttering!
Thanks! BTW, I finally got an e-mail alert for your reply! Did you change your settings? Anyway, it worked this time! Yay!!

I just cleaned out my kids closet, I feel like we’ve accumulated so much in the past year and everything is so cluttered. It’s nice to let go of things. I can’t stand having stuff around.

It is nice to clear out the kids’ things. I handed a packet of clothes to a colleague this week and the cupboard feels so nice with some “white space”
HA! I actually have a de-clutter planned for this weekend!! I am very excited about it!!!!!
Those little tupperware containers – I would NEVER get rid of them – we use them all the time and I can never find them when I want them!
Fantastic! Hope you feel great afterwards. I had tons of those small containers and honestly have too many. I could throw out another 10 or so quite easily.
I swear tupperware breeds! Plus it’s frustrating seeing this post as I moved (I’m a student) from France ot Germany and I also had to throw these things out (well I gave them to other people)…but I needed them once I moved…not very cost effective but it had to be done I guess

Beth, you poor thing – that is frustrating. On the bright side, at least you can buy only what you need
